Zelda Universe, one of the oldest and largest Legend of Zelda communities still on the net, has recently taken to converting some of the Zelda games into fully voice movie projects. It started with their dubbing of Hyrule Warriors, but they’ve since started a project to give full voice acting to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Known as “The Wind Waker: The Movie,” it premiered last month by chronicling Link’s journey from his home of Outset Island through the Forsaken Fortress, and the second episode now picks up from there, showing his adventures in Windfall and his quest to find the three Pearls of the Goddesses.
In addition to the voice acting, ZU also uses a lot of music from Zelda Reorchestrated to really give their scenes that extra punch. They’ll soon be following up this release with Act 3, which, by my best guess, should see Link’s continued efforts to obtain the final Pearl, his search for the Master Sword, the confrontation with Ganondorf, and perhaps even more.
