After its international launch in 2013, it cannot be denied that Fire Emblem Awakening played no small part in reinvigorating interest in the franchise, along with its sequel Fire Emblem Fates propelling the series to its new status as one of Nintendo’s major IPs in a few years’ time. The game stars Prince Chrom and the Shepherds as they face several threats plaguing the Halidom of Ylisse, among them the revival of the Fell Dragon Grima.

Among Chrom’s personal militia is Cordelia, a Pegasus Knight under the service of the Ylissean army. Those who consider Cordelia a favorite among the
Awakening cast will be pleased to know that they can buy a high quality figurine of her directly from the Good Smile Company come June 1st.

The product description for the Cordelia figurine is as follows:

“There is no way we will be defeated.”

From the popular 3DS game ‘Fire Emblem: Awakening’ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the young Ylisse Pegasus Knight, Cordelia! Her pose is based on illustrations specially drawn by the character’s original designer, Yusuke Kozaki.

The figure shows off both Cordelia’s integrity and strength, wielding her lance as she trains for the coming battle. Her stand is based in an ancient city, with a monument of a pegasus wing protruding from the ground, bringing out the atmosphere of the Fire Emblem universe. The rippling water layer on the base can also be removed, allowing for a slightly different appearance.

Preorders for Cordelia
were open last summer, so those who have already made their purchase will want to free up shelf space soon. A figma-brand Lucina figure from the same company was originally released around that period; a relaunch for that figure is planned for August this year. A Tharja figurine was released in March 2014.
