After three years of service, Wii Street U is shutting down. The world-touring app powered by Google brought the Earth to users’ fingertips; Wii U owners could visit select locations and look around at a full 360 degree angle thanks to the GamePad. Wii Street U will shut down on March 31st and the download will be removed from the eShop at the end of this month.

To be honest, it’s hard to mourn the loss of something that everyone opened once and never again because there were no games for the Wii U in the months following its launch. But at least we got a fun Iwata video out of it. Check the GoNintendo footage out up above.

Jackson Murphy
Jackson Murphy is eighteen years old. He is a dumb college student that you would probably hate.
