Back in January, Nintendo announced that the Switch’s paid online service would be available starting in September. Since then, we haven’t heard much about the service aside from the blowout of information that came when Nintendo released a website for the service. In a recent tweet, however, Nintendo reminded fans that the paid online service is still coming and clarified the release window. We now know that the service will be available in “late September,” meaning that there’s still a month or so to get in those last free Mario Kart races.
#NintendoSwitchOnline will launch in the second half of September. The service provides access to online play & Save Data Cloud backup in compatible games and a growing library of NES titles with added online play.https://t.co/74Hzxk9spt pic.twitter.com/JtNgmjnilE
