Sonic Forces pits the Blue Blur against a host of familiar foes from the series’ past, but among the returning adversarial all-stars like Shadow and Chaos 0 comes a new evil by the name of “Infinite.” While little is known about Infinite, his abilities, or his motives, SEGA dropped a new trailer for the upcoming holiday release just in time for San Diego Comic-Con, this time focusing on the recently revealed villain.

With the new trailer also comes an early preview of Infinite’s theme music by Tomoya Ohtani, with guitars by Crush 40’s Jun Senoue and vocals and lyrics by Alex Smyth and Andy Bane from Dangerkids. If you were a fan of the darker and edgier tracks from Shadow the Hedgehog, you’ll likely enjoy the new song as well.

Watch the trailer and listen to the new track in the videos below, then share your thoughts with us in the comments!

Sonic Forces launches this holiday season for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Jeffrey is a writer for Gamnesia and The Sonic Stadium, and a pianist obsessed with video game music. Loves all things Nintendo to a fault, and enjoys long walks on the Green Hill Zone. Pretty much Gamnesia's resident Sonic fan, my dude.
