When Google announced YouTube Gaming earlier this year, it seemed like a natural move for the company. YouTube was already the primary place for non-live gaming videos, so the creation of a new app just made sense.

The first version of the app has just launched. Called the “Creator Preview,” it allows us to get a glimpse at what this service will actually offer. According to the description, over 25,000 different games will have videos. Users will be able to browse pages specifically for different games, publishers, or channels.

In addition to the hundreds of thousands of recorded videos, users will be able to watch live-streams of both events (E3, Gamescom, etc.) and individual streamers. Viewers can also interact with each other in a live chatroom. Notifications for live-streams will be a built-in functionality, as well as recommendations based on what you watch.

The app is slowly rolling out on Google Play, but it can also be downloaded via APKMirror.
