After this morning’s tasty leaks courtesy of Walmart, SEGA has finally lifted the curtain on the upcoming Team Sonic Racing. The game is confirmed to be produced by Sumo Digital, the same studio behind the critically acclaimed Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and is expected to hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch this winter.

As noted before, the main mechanic in the game will revolve around racing in teams, be it for online or offline multiplayer. The trailer description also notes a variety of Sonic characters that can be chosen to race across familiar locales from the Sonic universe. If you’re attending E3 this year, you can demo the game for yourself on the show floor.

What kind of Zones and familiar faces would you hope to see in this dedicated Sonic racing game? Share your thoughts with us below.
