2016 is a big year for the Final Fantasy series, with the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XV and the sci-fi action film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. Recently, a ton of information regarding the film’s voice actors has been revealed. Square Enix uploaded a video showing that the main protagonist, Nyx, is being voiced by popular film and TV actor Go Ayano. King Regis will be voiced by Tsutomu Isobe, who often dubs Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson’s roles.

Luna will be voiced by Rina Kitagawa in the game, but in the movie she is voiced by movie and drama actress Shiori Kutsuna. The film’s magician, Crowe, will be voiced by Ayumi Fujimura, who voiced Ibuki in Street Fighter V. Another of the film’s main characters, Drautos, is voiced by Koichi Yamadera, who lends his voice to Donald Duck and to Joel from The Last of Us. Luche will be voiced by Seki Tomokanzu (Yoshimitsu from Tekken), and finally Libertus will be voiced by Mitsuaki Kanuka.

Another bit of information revealed recently was through an interview video with Luna’s voice actress in Final Fantasy XV, Rina Kitagawa. She stated that Luna is two years older than she is, which means the character is 24 years old.
