The Golden Joystick Awards are some of the oldest and most prestigious awards in video games, and they are voted for annually by the British general public. The biggest winners for this year include The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, which won three awards, including Game of the Year, and Bloodborne, which was granted the trophy for PlayStation Game of the Year and Best Original Game. Notably, the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s legendary President and CEO, who tragically passed away earlier this year. He was reportedly the unanimous choice for the award.
What do you guys think? Would Splatoon have been your choice for Best Nintendo Game, or would you have voted for Xenoblade Chronicles X, Majora’s Mask 3D, or any of the other nominees? Do you agree with the other winners this year? Let us know in the comments below!
