At their E3 press conference, Sony finally showed off some gameplay footage of Ghost of Tsushima. While no release date has been announced, their upcoming samurai title is looking pretty polished already.

Ghost of Tsushima takes place in 1274, where the island of Tsushima has been invaded by the Mongol Empire. Players take charge as Jin, a samurai who uses the way of the Ghost to save Japan from the invaders. In the trailer, Jin has to save a monk from the Mongol forces with the help of his ally Masako. When he saves the monk, however, Masako tries to attack the monk, calling him a traitor. Jin then duels Masako, but spares her life, knowing they need to work together to fight off the Mongols.

Hi, I'm Mark. I'm like Statler and Waldorf if they were one person, except cuter. I'm an aspiring author, a Nintendo fanboy, and a recovering Sonic fanboy. But you can never really recover from that. I main Lucina in Smash Bros, and I think that says more about me than anything else can.
