Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. boss Andrew House has said Sony is “very confident” about hitting the five million mark in PlayStation 4 sales by March 2014.
House, speaking to French website Le Figaro, has also said Sony is making sure they have more PlayStation 4 consoles by Christmas. Of course, that wasn’t all House had to say about the console, which has performed quite well since its debut.
“It’s the most important one in the
history of the PlayStation, which will soon celebrate its twentieth
birthday. I’m extremely happy about pre-order figures, which can be
explained by the attractive price of the console. Our production chain
is the best we’ve ever had. We’re redoubling our efforts to have more
PS4s available before Christmas and not to disappoint customers. In the
light of people’s reception, I’m very confident in the fact that we will
sell more than 5 million PS4 by late March 2014.”
Considering the PlayStation 4 had the best UK console launch ever, it’s not hard to see Sony meeting these goals. What do you think? Do you see Sony meeting the sales mark they’ve put out there?
