Pokémon GO has been an enormous success since its debut in July, potentially opening the door to more augmented reality games. Developer Niantic has hinted that the game could come to Microsoft Hololens at some point, making it a more robust augmented reality experience, and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella strongly supports that idea.

It could be a while before we see an official Pokémon game on Hololens (if ever), but in the meantime, YouTuber KennyWdev has created his own Pokémon battle system tech demo for Hololens to give us an idea of what the fights could look like. It’s obviously not a complete product (and probably never will be), but between this and the fan-made Pokémon GO tech demo on Hololens, the prospect of an official release keeps becoming more exciting.
