In addition to the fact that Hyrule Warriors is exceeding sales expectations, Nintendo’s financial reports have revealed strong sales for other games as well. Tomodachi Life has sold over 1.27 million units since releasing in the West (far exceeding expectations), and combined with its strong Japanese sales it has now sold 3.12 million units globally.
Meanwhile, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has shipped 3.22 million units as of September 30. The first ever handheld Smash launched in September in Japan, but not until October 3rd in the West. However, the initial Western shipments took place during September, so these numbers are included.
