Developer Bandai Namco Entertainment recently teased that they’d soon be announcing a new fighter for the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament, and today’s the day! Thanks to a new announcement trailer, we now have confirmation that Scizor is the latest Pokémon to join the tournament. The fearsome Steel / Bug type will be available in Japanese arcades on October 20th, but so far there’s no word on a Western release.
Data miners previously discovered game code in Pokkén Tournament that indicated that Darkrai, Scizor, and Empoleon would all be added to the game. With Darkrai already out on arcade and Scizor on the way, it looks like Empoleon is a lock now. You can check out the reveal trailer and some gameplay footage by clicking below.
