Update: We learned after publishing the original article that this rumor has been confirmed true by Best Buy.
Original: Nintendo’s newest console has suffered the same fate as a number of recent projects by the Big N, namely having too little supply to meet the demand of the public. The Nintendo Switch does seem to be making a bit of a comeback in the next few weeks, though. We just learned that Amazon will be getting a restock of the consoles next month, but according to another rumor, the Nintendo Switch is getting restocked at Best Buy stores even sooner!
As per cheapassgamer, Best Buy locations are planning for a store-wide restock of the Nintendo Switch this upcoming Friday, April 28th. We would certainly hope that everyone who wants the Nintendo Switch can satiate their gaming desires this week; however, as of yet there is no word on how substantial the restock will be, so it’s probably better to assume that stores will only have a few units each, if that. You’ll want to get to Best Buy bright and early, just to be on the safe side!
