Rare Says They Appreciate the Wii U Enthusiasm, but Rare Replay Will Remain an Xbox Exclusive

Minecraft, now a first-party Microsoft game, coming to Wii U had people speculating about other Microsoft-owned IP’s finding their way to Nintendo’s home console. These speculations were centered around Rare Replay, since this collection includes a lot of games that were originally released for the Nintendo 64. Even Microsoft Studios seemed open to that idea. However, Rare has shut down the idea of Rare Replay coming to Wii U with a simple tweet, stating that it’s exclusive to Xbox One.
