It took nearly a whole year since its PAL region launch, but PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure has finally arrived on the Virtual Console for Wii U in North America. Developed by Creatures Inc., this 2009 Pokémon spinoff tasks the series’ adorable mascot in retrieving the fourteen pieces of the shattered Sky Prism that once protected the titular PokéPark. To that end, Pikachu must befriend the many Pokémon there and borrow their talents to clear the various attractions around the park, ultimately winning back the pieces of the broken Prism to restore the park to its previous, peaceful state.

You can download
PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure today for $19.99, though it will take up 2113 MB of your Wii U hard drive.

As for other Wii U eShop downloads this week, Q-Games and Double Eleven’s tower defense game
PixelJunk Monsters has been made available today for $9.99. Those looking for a reason to get into Minecraft: Wii U Edition, or fans who are eager enough to double-dip between platforms, might find a good one with the exclusive Super Mario Mash-Up pack made available for free two days ago.

Also launching today is a 9-player party game called
Chompy Chomp Chomp Party, priced at $11.99, and Joindots’ puzzle game Sweetest Thing for $6.99. Miscellaneous Joindots titles are also on sale this week until May 26th, as well as Sarepta Studio’s Shadow Puppeteer until June 8th.
