The NPD Group recently released its report for the month of November, 2016, highlighting hardware and software sales data in the United States. As we previously reported, Pokémon Sun and Moon (when counted as one game, as they usually are) were the top-selling software item in the country last month. According to the NPD Group, this surge in Pokémon sales helped Nintendo break a personal record. More physical 3DS games were purchased in the US last month than in any previous month in the system’s history, beating out December 2014 by just 1%. Thanks, Pokémon GO hype!
