Nintendo is the latest company to join the virtual reality market following last night’s announcement. Nintendo Labo VR certainly won’t compete directly with much more expensive hardware like PlayStation VR and Oculus Rift, but it offers a cheaper entry point into simple VR experiences. A starter kit, several expansion packs, and a complete bundle will all be available beginning on April 12th, and you can pre-order now.
Best Buy is the first retailer to start accepting pre-orders, and they’re currently listing the Starter Kit and the complete bundle at $39.99 and $79.99 respectively. You can secure a pre-order for either by clicking right here. The individual expansion sets don’t appear to be available yet, but they’ll come with a price tag of $20 a piece when they’re eventually listed.
