Are you guys excited for E3 2014 yet? If not, you will be after this news post!
In a quirky new YouTube video about a group of fans infiltrating the Nintendo headquarters in search of E3 news (you can check it out above), Nintendo announced their plans for E3 2014. Nintendo @ E3 2014 will be bigger than ever, featuring four different ways to experience the action.
To begin, the Big N announced that their E3 presentation this year will again be digital; however, it will now be called the Nintendo Digital Event rather than a Nintendo Direct. The Event will air on Tuesday, June 10th at 9 A.M. Pacific (noon Eastern time) and will reveal and provide further details about gaming experiences coming to Nintendo platforms in 2014 and beyond.
Nintendo also announced that developers from the Nintendo of America Treehouse will be streaming throughout E3 with live, unscripted demos from the Nintendo booth. It should be interesting to get a chance to see more about the games being shown from the developers themselves.
The description for the Digital Event states that we’ll be seeing game reveals as well as more information about previously announced titles; hopefully, that means that Zelda U and Miyamoto’s new project will be announced, perhaps with a Retro Studios announcement as well. Of course, we can also expect to see more about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, Hyrule Warriors, and other previously announced titles.
What do you think? Excited for E3? I’ve already got June 10th circled on my calendar!
