Over the summer, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata had to undergo surgery to remove a growth from his bile duct. Thankfully, the surgery went well and Iwata’s recovery was steady and fast, but under orders from his doctor he has been handling his CEO duties at home and has not been able to travel for any Nintendo events. For this reason, Iwata was unable to attend the previous Nintendo investor meeting in July, but he was present for the recent meeting. Iwata revealed that he has recovered and is back to his full time duties as CEO. Aside from some weight loss, Iwata feels much healthier now.
