Niantic had a dramatic rise to fame and fortune after Pokémon GO launched in 2016, and soon they’ll be working with another beloved franchise. They’ve been teasing a Harry Potter project for quite some time now, and they recently launched the first teaser trailer for the upcoming game, dubbed Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

Our first look at Wizards Unite reveals… well, almost nothing at all. However, Niantic has confirmed that their next big mobile game launches in 2019. The video’s description states “Why are traces of magic appearing in the Muggle world? Enlist immediately to help uphold the Statute of Secrecy and protect the wizarding world!

We’re not quite sure how Wizards Unite will play, but it’s expected to feature some of the same gameplay elements as Ingress and Pokémon GO. They’ve previously teased that you’ll be able to “Explore real-world neighborhoods and cities to discover mysterious artifacts, learn to cast spells, and encounter legendary beasts and iconic characters along the way.”
