During the PC Gaming Show, some new footage of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was shown off. The developers confirmed that the first level of the game takes place in Dubai, which will connect this game with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The footage that was shown was recorded from a PC while being played with a controller.

The new game will introduce an improved cover system and a new Jensen that is much more comfortable with his augmentations. The developers said they are looking to push a new level of choice in the game; for example, if you take too long with the first level, a sandstorm will kick in that will reduce the visibility of both the player and the enemies. We’ll update this post with the new gameplay when it’s available!

What do you think about the new Deus Ex game? Are you excited about the fresh features the developers are bringing to the game?

Our Verdict

Writing is half of my life. Video games make up the other half. I decided to put these two hobbies together and join Gamnesia back in 2015. I spend most of my time working at a retail store and paying off my student debt. When I'm not getting stressed about the thousands of dollars I owe my loan providers, I play tons of video games (which just puts me into more debt). I'm also currently writing a novel in what little spare time I have. It's a story I've been wanting to write for a while, but I don't want to talk about it until I have most of it completed. Any Gamnesia-related inquiries may be sent to [email protected] Feel free to follow my personal Twitter if you want (@Pindlo). I mostly just retweet things.
