Microsoft has dropped the trademark for Xbox exclusive title Blinx, making it highly unlikely that the franchise will produce a third installment in the series anytime soon. The first title in the series, Blinx: The Time Sweeper, released on the original Xbox in 2002 and was followed up by Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space in 2004.

Developed by Artoon and published by Microsoft Game Studios,
Blinx set the bar as one of the more difficult 3D platformers on the original Xbox and proclaimed itself as “The World’s First 4D Action Game.” Owners of Blinx 2 are still able to enjoy it on Xbox 360 thanks to a backwards compatibility update released on July 12, 2007.

Blinx titles? Were you hoping for another installment in the series on Xbox One? Chime in on the subject in the comments section below.

Our Verdict

Joel Palermo
Hi everyone, my name is Joel and I'm a huge fan of all different genres of videos games. Specifically, I love horror video games, so expect to see a few articles from time to time about the more grotesque and stomach-churning side of the gaming industry. I also love making music and working on YouTube videos from time to time for my channel. My content is definitely random, but if you find something to your liking, don't be afraid to mention it to me on Twitter or my channel.
