During last night’s Switch presentation, Nintendo revealed a new motion-controlled game called Arms. We learned more about the game in today’s Treehouse stream, where they showed it in action. The game features several character options and each have different abilities and traits. Ribbon Girl is the best jumper, Ninjara can vanish when blocking attacks, Master Mummy heals when blocking attacks, and Mechanica can fly in midair. Furthermore, the characters you choose will affect the audience appearance.

You can equip your fighter with different gloves including the standard Toaster gloves, Boomerang gloves which give players a bigger curve, Trident gloves which shoot missiles, and much more. In terms of gameplay, the players’ moves have a rock-paper-scissors set up: punches beat throws, throws beat blocks, and blocks beat punches.
