Despite making a name for itself among shooters, the Halo franchise has been noticeably absent from the PC gaming scene since Halo 2 dropped in 2007. That’s all about to change, however, as 343 Industries announced today that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be launching on the Microsoft Store and Steam. Previously exclusive to Xbox One, The Master Chief Collection is a compilation consisting of all content for Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4.

343 Industries is taking a segmented approach to this launch, releasing each game individually in chronological order (starting with Halo: Reach) as they work on completing the series. There’s no word on a release date yet, but 343 has said that more information will be coming on Sunday at SXSW.
