The NPD Group has released its full report for the past month, highlighting hardware and software sales data in the US during July. With few major titles releasing during July, the software charts were dominated by evergreen titles. Grand Theft Auto V, which made its debut in 2013, was the number one game in the US for the month, and Monster Hunter Generations was the only July release to crack the top ten.

Overwatch is listed at number two, but the NPD Group does not have access to Battle.net sales, so it could potentially be the true champion. NPD’s report includes new games sold at U.S. retailers and digital full-game sales for participating retailers through PSN, Xbox Live, and Steam. You can check out the rankings below.
