Dragon Ball FighterZ blew up the internet after being announced at E3, with fans of 2D fighters and Dragon Ball fanatics alike rejoicing at what looks to be a great new fighting game. There were only six playable fighters in the E3 demo; however, a seventh has been announced in the latest issue of Jump magazine.
The magazine revealed that fan favorite Future Trunks will be joining the fight, although the issue itself provided no information or screenshots about his play-style. This first hints of those details came earlier today, when the game’s Japanese Twitter account shared the first image of Trunks in the game, showing that he will again be bringing his sword to a fist fight.
Jump also reported that a closed beta will be starting this summer, although no further details were given. Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled to release early next year on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and possibly the Nintendo Switch, if they receive enough requests from fans.
