Amidst all the hype for Dragon Ball FighterZ, it’s easy to forget that there are other upcoming releases in the series. For example, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which came out last year, has a Nintendo Switch port in the works, and Bandai Namco has officially revealed a September release date for all the Switch Dragon Ball fans out there.

The initial release of
Xenoverse 2 was on October 26th of last year for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and a Switch port was revealed earlier this year, with the Japanese version confirmed for September 7th. Yesterday, Bandai Namco confirmed that the North American and European versions will arrive on the Switch on September 22nd.

On top of all the content included in previous versions of the game, the Switch version will feature exclusive motion controls that allow the player to fire projectiles by using the Joy-Con motion functionality. This version also includes an exclusive local play mode, allowing up to six players to connect on individual Switch consoles. Bandai Namco has additionally revealed the game’s box art and several new gameplay images, which you can see below.
