Earlier this week we got word that THQ Nordic’s remastering of the original Darksiders game, dubbed Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, might be getting a delay to next month, and now it’s been confirmed. Nordic sent out word earlier today that the game is being pushed back to November for all platforms, with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U versions now scheduled to launch on November 22nd, while PC gamers will have to wait until the 29th. Additionally, the Wii U version will only release as a digital download at first, with no word on the physical version’s new release date. At this point, we haven’t received a reason for the delay, but hopefully it will result in a better game overall.
Are you disappointed about this delay, or are you not really into the Darksiders series? Will you be trying it out come November, or has Nordic just shot themselves in the foot by putting the game right after Pokémon Sun and Moon‘s launch? Let us know in the comments!
