The card game “Gwent” was a huge deal for many The Witcher 3 players. It actually got to the point where a PC Mod was created where all combat was replaced with games of the popular card game. As such, it comes as no surprise that CD Projekt Red will be releasing a standalone version of the now titular card game, called Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.
The game, officially revealed during the Microsoft E3 Conference, will primarily be a multiplayer experience, though it will also feature a single-player campaign. CD Projekt Red promises improved mechanics and cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. Additionally, the game will feature all four factions from
The Witcher 3‘s version of the game.
Players can sign up for
Gwent‘s beta here, which will begin this September.
