The famous Japanese game publisher Capcom has revealed its E3 2013 lineup. A user on Neogaf posted a quote from Capcom’s press office detailing what the company is planning to bring to the show. The list includes DuckTales: Remastered, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, Lost Planet 3, Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, and “a big surprise.”

“Come join us at this year’s E3 Expo to experience all new versions of forthcoming releases DuckTales: Remastered, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara and Lost Planet 3 as well as the debut of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies. And what’s more, we have a big surprise to share with you. To find out what it is you’ll have to head to booth # 2101 in the South Hall of the LA Convention Center.”

Remember, Capcom recently launched a 30th anniversary website, and on that website is a countdown. So it appears there’s a good chance that when that countdown hits zero in four days and six hours, Capcom will draw back the curtain on our “big surprise” for E3 2013. Tune into Gamnesia for coverage of the event!

I write editorials here at Gamnesia and occasionally some news (though far less often than I used to). Here's some of my work, long-form game essays, if you have any interest in that sort of stuff: The Amount of Content in a Game Has Nothing to do with its Price A Game's Atmosphere is Defined by its Mechanics, Not its Aesthetic The Witcher 3's Introduction is Terribly Paced and Too Restrictive of its Players I'm looking forward to The Last Guardian (had it pre-ordered since 2010), Rime, Night in the Woods, and Vane. If I had a niche, it would probably be the somewhat higher fidelity indie games, as take up most of the spots on that list. I'm also developing a no-budget video game with a friend, and you can follow me on Twitter (@TheVioletBarry) to hear about that and anything else I feel like saying. Film, games, it's that sort of stuff.
