After the successful reintroduction of the Mega Man franchise to gamers across modern platforms with Mega Man Legacy Collection, Capcom has decided to continue their retrospective of the mainline series with Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. This new title will feature Mega Man 7, 8, 9, and 10, along with special bonus features for this retro repackage.

It all comes out on August 8th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC at the digital and retail price of $19.99 USD. On top of the four
Mega Man sequels included, lots of bonus content including extra challenges, a museum, and a music gallery will be a part of this collection.

An Extra Armor function is also being added to the package of games for series newcomers; this ability can lessen the damage characters take by half, so new players will not be as overwhelmed by the franchise’s trademark difficulty.

Mega Man 7 originally released on the Super Nintendo and was followed soon after by Mega Man 8 for PlayStation and SEGA Saturn in the mid ’90s. Both Mega Man 9 and 10 released years later on a slew of systems, sporting a rebooted 8-bit vibe. Every game in the series has seen positive reviews, and if gamers who are interested have not played these games yet, this collection seems like a great way to get one’s hands on them.

Are you glad
Legacy Collection 2 is coming out? Do you think more Mega Man collections will release in the future? And then, of course, there always is that potential for a new Mega Man game fans are craving. Talk about it below, and prepare to blow up robots like in the old days in only two months’ time!

Hey all! I've been a gamer since I was three. I'm one of those people with gaming so ingrained in them that watching my father play Super Mario 64 is actually my first memory I can recall. I love writing too! I'm writing an original fantasy series that takes place in another universe; it may take some inspiration from some of my favorite franchises. I've been a journalist for a few years, have worked on local and national teams, and have garnered experience assigning stories, editing, writing, interviewing, hosting a television series, running a YouTube channel, and doing other stuff that's more fun to mention in conversation. Bios can drag on. Anyway, I'm super stoked to be a part of the Gamnesia team! Thanks for having me!
