Nintendo recently unveiled Pokémon Sun and Moon for Nintendo 3DS, and the new generation kicks off on November 18th. During a recent trailer for the games, we got a look at the world map (seen to the left), but fans have theorized that there’s a lot more than what meets the eye. Due to the relatively small size of the island depicted by the map (and the fact that the new region is based off of Hawaii), popular opinion is that we’ll be exploring multiple islands in the game.
Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed these suspicions, but the games’ listings on Amazon seem to support the idea. The official listings for both
Sun and Moon state that you’ll be able to “Catch, battle, and trade all-new Pokemon on the tropical islands of a new Region and become a Pokemon Champion!” Hopefully we’ll find out more about the Alola region when more Pokémon Sun and Moon news drops on June 2nd.
