Ahead of an official reveal, a $30
Rise of the Tomb Raider season pass has been listed on Amazon and offers some insight on potential DLC releases. Though no specific information was given, the listing details additional single-player content as well as some form of multiplayer functionality. It was announced last month that Rise of the Tomb Raider would not feature a multiplayer mode so that developer Crystal Dynamics could focus on the campaign, but the season pass description suggests otherwise.
The Amazon listing reads, “The Season Pass for Rise of the Tomb Raider includes a range of content that will extend your single-player campaign, and also allow you to compete with friends.” The latter part of the description implies that some form of multiplayer could be added to the game post release, but it could be anything from an online competitive mode to a basic leader board system.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will release for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10th, later for PC in spring 2016, followed by a PlayStation 4 release in holiday 2016.
