A YouTube video has surfaced showing a hacker running Final Fantasy IX on the New 3DS. The game made its first debut back in 2000 on the PlayStation, and it recently released on iOS and Andriod. The hacker used Retroarch 3DS Opensource Emulator to run the game on the system, and it looks great! Retroarch has also been used by hackers to port SNES games to the 3DS, but the emulator can be used on multiple platforms. Chances are that FFIX will never make it to the Virtual Console eShop, but at least we now know what it would look like!
